Welcome to my contribution to Word-Filled Wednesday, hosted this week by Susan at Forever His. Be sure to stop by her blog for more visual inspiration from scripture.

Resting in the Lord has not been my specialty lately. In fact RESTING in general has been a bit of a challenge for me. This scene I saw made me long for rest - but what we ALL need to remember is that resting in Him does not require a serene background, or even silence. All we have to do is be still and know.

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Pssalm 46:10 NIV

  5. How relaxing a picture to go with the reminder that we are to relax ourselves b/c in a busy, day to day world, sometimes we can get TOO busy to hear His voice.
