Yes, it's the day before, the day before Christmas, and I'm thinking back to my very first Christmas in Michigan. I was still living in California at the time, but my hubby and I were engaged, and he brought me home for Christmas.
Until then, I'd always been a sunny Southern California girl, but on that trip, I learned that I would likely not turn into an ice cube--or worse--if I moved to the Midwest.
