I AM away from the computer today on my monthly tech fast. But I will NOT be sitting around twiddling my thumbs.
Not only do my kids start back to school today, but it's the first session of my church's ladies' Bible study for the fall. We're doing a Juanita Purcell study about contentment (and BOY do I need it!). AND, my house is a mess. Hopefully, by the time I'm back, it will be at least A BIT less so. (And..P is for pretty busy - be back for the next letter!)
Enjoy your day - and I'll see you Wednesday!

Oh, to new beginnings! I love the return of school routine and group study... and the old routine of a messy house! Enjoy this start, Joanne, and may this new year of education serve all of you well as you grow and mature in your faith and in your love for one another.

ReplyDeleteSee you Wednesday! :)
Oh, Joanne...I remember when the kids were young and that first day back to school, I was sure if I listened real close, I'd hear a collective sigh all around the neighborhood. We'd all walk the kids to school, walk back to our homes and face the mayhem from the summer. Kind of bitter-sweet, really, but I'm so glad you're starting it off with a new Ladies Bible Study season - ours begins today, as well. Take care and re-charge those batteries :)
ReplyDeleteI try to do a tech fast on Sundays. I need it just to rest my brain!
